Ultrasonic Boat Hull Protection

Marine organisms attaching to the hull can increase the need for cleaning and affect how the boat performs. A system based on ultrasonic technology can be one option for managing fouling on the hull.

Whether the system is suitable depends on factors such as the boat's construction, hull material, equipment and installation options. That is why the right solution should be determined before choosing equipment.

GMT Marine helps you assess your boat's suitability, explore installation options and provide a quote based on the scope of the work.

How we work

1. 1.

Reviewing the boat and hull structure

We find out the boat's make, model, size and hull material and assess what further information is needed to check suitability.

2. 2.

Assessing the system and installation method

We determine whether a possible system suits the boat and where the sensors, cabling and other necessary components could be placed.

3. 3.

   Quote

You receive a quote based on your boat's details and the agreed scope of work before any work begins.

4. 4.

   Installation and check

If the system suits the boat and the installation is agreed, we carry out the agreed installation work and check the system's operation according to the scope of the work.

The effect of an ultrasonic system depends on the equipment used and the conditions. We do not promise that the system prevents all marine growth or removes the need to clean the hull.

Let's check whether it suits your boat

Tell us your boat's make, model, length and hull material, if you know them. GMT Marine will find out what kind of solution could suit your boat and what implementing it would involve.
